REEthink…REEboot your entrepreneurial endeavor

Like a computer…sometimes an entrepreneurial endeavor can lock-up.  All the critical information is still there…just unaccessible in the entrepreneur’s present mindset and methodology.

So…how does an entrepreneur REEboot their endeavor?  Typically…with an attitude adjustment!  You have to REEbelieve!  When you do that…REEbooting your present operation to create a comeback…or a homecoming of sorts…to the original motives and vision that launched the entrepreneurial endeavor is simply a minor repair procedure.

A couple of ways come to mind…

…First, the entrepreneur needs to shut down the old thought processes that may have caused the endeavor’s lock-up.  This task is not always easy…but the successful entrepreneur knows that it is almost impossible to solve today’s problems and REEboot the endeavor with the same thoughts and actions that created the lock-up in the first place.  It takes a change of perspective…a change of input…and even possibly a change of support staff to REEboot an entrepreneurial endeavor that has frozen with it’s present set of data, programming, and actions.  ”Whatever it takes” must be the new directive whenever is becomes necessary to REEboot the entrepreneurial endeavor.

…Second, again like a computer, the entrepreneurial endeavor may need to be “defragged”!  This is a “techie” term explaining the process of reconnecting the existing data on a computer’s hard drive by eliminating the gaps in information.  To “defrag” the entrepreneurial endeavor the entrepreneur must identify the gaps in knowledge gained from experiences ..eliminate those gaps…reconnect and condense the data…and set new pathways to achieve success.  This “defragging” process also allows for an expansion of experiences using existing resources as it automatically creates more room for experimentation and expansion of  new mindsets and methods that can speed the entire entrepreneurial process.

This an appropriate article from Entrepreneur Magazine that parallels this topic…
