REEthink…REEdealing

Over the years I have heard entrepreneurial failures use the old gamblers complaint…”I’m just playing the hand I was dealt”.  Typically it is from those that blame their set of circumstances on something that was or is out of  their control.  True…to an extent…but true or not… everyone has the opportunity to REEdeal!

REEdealing to an entrepreneur means there is a chance to start over…to change the outcome by changing the environment.  There is a chance to create a new environment for product or purpose.  There is always a light at the end of the tunnel that is worth moving toward.  When an entrepreneur REEdeals it creates new energy…new passion…new ideas that were better than the past.  REEdealing can set the stage for the entrepreneur to benefit from experiences…from a new perspective…and with a new set of cards is his or her hand they can change the outcome by playing a smarter game with a new set of tools.

How does an entrepreneur REEdeal?  It is always simple…but seldom easy.  REEdealing means you must leave something behind.  It means that you must sacrifice some of the good you are hanging on to for an even greater good and future opportunity.  Ask yourself this…”is the entrepreneurial hand I am holding a winner?”…”will it allow me to achieve all of my goals?”…”is it a hand that can stand the test of competition?” If the entrepreneurs answer to any of these questions is “no”…then it’s time to REEdeal!

If you decide to REEdeal…get a new deck of entrepreneurial mindsets and methods…shuffle the cards…cut the deck…and deal yourself a new…winning hand!

Here is a great article from the Kauffman Foundation regarding how entrepreneurs can REEdeal…and take advantage of a new set of mindsets as they create and handle change in their endeavor:
